How to Start Benefiting from Social Surge
Social Surge is easy to setup and will start working as soon as it knows your X account. You will start to notice an increase in likes, reposts and comments on your X posts. So keep the content coming. People and the X algorithm love consistency.
Once you have that regular posting nailed, follow the steps below to supercharge your growth and get the level of engagement you deserve.
Starting a New X Account
When you start a new X account (or are re-vitalising a dormant one) the best thing you can do is post regularly. X is a fast-moving social media platform, with a steady stream of posts being fed to your followers throughout the day. That’s why a minimum of one or two unique posts a day is best to start to catch people’s attention. Posts about your business and activity start to get you noticed by the X algorithm so that it will expose you to accounts that have shown an interest in your information area.
Add to the mix a couple of reposts that your community is likely to find interesting –include your own thoughts and comments to your reposts. This introduces your personality and colour to your communication – helping you stand apart from the other accounts in your area of interest.
When you link your Free ‘Starter’ Social Surge account to your X account we’ll start to support your posts. You’ll notice a variety of X accounts starting to like and comment on your posts, reposting some of them with their own comments.
This starts the ball rolling so your reach will expand, the X algorithm presenting your page to other users in your area of interest. This will start slowly at first.

Tips for Growing Existing X Accounts
Do you already have an existing X account with some engagement? Select a Social Surge account that offers monthly engagement levels that are just a little larger than your current engagement levels – No engagement at the moment? No problem! Just follow the suggestions under “Starting a New X Account”.
Remember the best way to grow your community and get the full benefit from Social Surge you need to be posting regularly. Starter and Growth plans will benefit from posting and/or reposting a minimum of 4 times a day.
For the Pro and Influencer levels move towards 10+ posts every day. This doesn’t need to be original content. reposting (preferably with a comment) things that you find interesting and your audience will like gives Social Surge something to work with so it can expand your reach – Don’t forget to add your views to your posts to show your individual/brand personality.
Things will start to get exciting, but don’t increase your Social Surge account size too quickly. It will work best to leave at least 4-6 weeks at each Social Surge account level before upgrading. This gives your audience time to find you and appreciate the quality information you are providing. Social Surge will work hand in hand with the X algorithm to gradually extend your reach with your natural audience turning your X account into a powerhouse in your information area, surpassing other accounts quickly and efficiently.
